In this workshop we will explore some
of the techniques available for making
Dichroic Glass feature pieces for jewellery.
IN THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL LEARN:
- Different glass cutting methods.
- How to do a Full fuse.
- How to do a Tack Fuse.
- How to make a clear capped Cabochon.
- How to create the hole for a fused bead.
- How to create a precise shape.
- Fusing Silver wire loops in place.
- The firing and annealing schedules involved.
- Firing options for Glass & PMC together.
You will be able to make between 10 - 20 glass cabochons
& beads, one or two of them will be set in PMC, the
rest are yours to take home and use for your own work.
Glass cabochons look great in wire work and polymer clay
pieces as well as metal work.

experience necessary for this class.
